SheaMoisture Coconut and Hibiscus Line

Today I want to give a review of the Shea Moisture Coconut and Hibiscus line. This is currently my curly hair routine and after having already 3 weeks using it I have a better feel of the products.

First, the shampoo has a pleasant scent as all the other products from this line. It creates a nice lather and a little amount goes a long way. My scalp feels clean and the best is that my hair doesn’t feel dry. I don’t have any complaint about this shampoo because it does what it claims.

The conditioner does wonders to my hair. My curls are bouncy and hydrated. However, I wish the consistency was a little bit thicker. It detangles my hair smoothly, detangling with this was easy and quick. I sometimes use this as a leave-in and it works well.

I have used before the super famous curl hanging smoothie from this line and it worked for me in the past but, I wanted to gives this a try. This girl is thick, so be careful. I only used a light hand in order to prevent a cast and possible flakes. However, I noticed some flakes and my curls were okay. They look defined but, this wasn’t a product that wow me in any way.

This line worked well with my hair and enhanced my curls.  If I could choose one favorite product of this line it will be the conditioner. Even though, is not the thickest conditioner as something you would expect for thick hair it detangles easily. Overall, I had a pleasant experience with this line. What shea moisture product should I try next?

see you in the next post!

XOXO
