My Cruelty Free Skincare Routine

Hi readers!

Since the start of this year, I have been trying to pull together a solid skincare routine. I believe that now I  have a set routine with a decent amount of products to share.  I’m all about using products that are cruelty-free and always preferred products that are vegan. My skin is not perfect but, I feel more confident and I’m happy with the improvements. So let’s talk about these bad boys, shall we?

*Disclaimer* Some of the products were gifted to me. However, all my opinions are my own.

Trufora Ultimate Facial Cleanser  This is an amazing cleanser is super gentle to the skin and takes off makeup like a champ. I love the fact that I  can use to remove my eye makeup without having my eyes feeling irritated. This cleanser is also a toner and makeup remover making it a great cleanser because I don’t need more products to place does needs.

Glossier Solution I hated this product when I started using it because it broke me up and I didn’t see improvement during the first 4 weeks as this product claims to do. This product claims to be a gentle exfoliator to be used daily. Due to the hype of being Glossier first fighting acne product I gave in. I used this every day as the instructions explain and my skin freak out. I was very disappointed and so I gave it a break it. I talked about my frustrations on Instagram regarding this product and many people advised me to give another tried so, I did.

I treated this product from what it says an exfoliator, so I only used it two times a week. It worked and my skin didn’t lash out at my second try. I think because this chemical exfoliator has ingredients such as AHA and BHA my skin never experienced these ingredients before. My skin looks more glowy and my skin texture has improved but it takes some time to see really strong results. With all honesty, I don’t see myself repurchasing this one any time soon.

Trufora Triple Action Exfoliator This is your typical exfoliator but, this product can be used as a mask. Also, its full of organic ingredients, vegan and ethically made. It doesn’t irritate my skin and I used it about once or twice a week. The appearance of my pores have decreased and overall my skin looks better.

Curology I love this! this is actually my second bottle of curology. I saw one of my favorites YouTubers Weylie, was raving about this product. So you know, one of those things youtube made me buy but, it was totally worth it. So basically, curology is a personalized acne cream in which you register the information of your skin on their website. Take a couple of selfies to show your problem areas and a dermatologist is going to formulate a product that will fulfill your skin needs. This is my night cream due to its prescribed to use it daily at night. I totally recommend to give it a try! if it’s your first time using curology you just have to pay for shipping.

Rose and Abbot moisturizer This is another personalized product full of great oils that nurture the skin.  This is my everyday moisturizer love the fact that it also has ingredients to help out with my acne and texture. Works awesome under makeup and feels pretty lightweight. Highly recommend this product if you are looking for a moisturizer that fits your specific needs.

KORRES Pomegranate AHAs & Enzymes Resurfacing Mask This is overall a pretty good mask, I got a sample size from Influenster. This is more of an exfoliator than a mask because it has texture from the pomegranates grains. I love the fact that you can feel that’s it working the moment it’s on your skin. Is not the most moisturizing mask ever but, it’s great if you have texture, and if your skin is on the oilier side.

  1. I’ve heard great things about Curology but have yet to try it out! I’ll have to look into it after I finish the things I currently have!

  2. I’ve been interested in Glossier, and hearing your reaction is good to know! Some of these other products sound great as well.
